Jennifer began her career in bodywork over twenty years ago after graduating from the Pennsylvania School of Muscle Therapy (Cortiva) in 1988 with a speciality in Pfrimmer Deep Muscle Therapy. For ten years she served as staff therapist at the Deep Muscle Therapy Center, a unique King of Prussia pain clinic, treating clients with various forms of muscular disease and injury.
As an American Massage Therapy Association scholarship recipient, she has pursued further certifications in the field of corrective bodywork including Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, Medical Massage and Craniosacral Therapy. Additionaly, she is trained in SafeTouch Bodywork for abuse/trauma survivors, Pre-Natal Massage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Personal Training, Stretching and Sports Massage. She has maintained National Board Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork since its' inception in 1993 and is a fully insured professional AMTA member.
In 1992, she became an instructor at PSMT (Cortiva) of basic and advanced courses including the Swedish Massage Program, Pfrimmer Deep Muscle Therapy, CPR/First Aid and Ethics. She served as the Admissions Director for many years until the birth of her daughters. Jennifer continues to teach classes in Crossfiber Corrective Muscle Therapy through the International Institute for Corrective Muscle Therapy. What to Expect from your Massage Session
Your therapist will arrive with everything needed for a comfortable and professional massage session. All that is required is a space large enough to set up a massage table. Calming music will be provided unless you prefer your own music. Some clients enjoy talking during a session while others appreciate silence. Either is perfectly acceptable - it is your time! You will be provided with privacy to change before and after your massage and may undress to whatever level is comfortable for you. You will be fully draped with sheets during the massage. Your privacy and confidentiality are respected at all times. NCBTMB code of ethics are followed at all times.
